Go birding with us!
Join us for a birdwalk! We go for birdwalks on the first Sunday of each month and on every Saturday thereafter from late March through mid-November. (Check the calendar since we have an occasional exception to this rule.) Walks start at 8 AM at the store and finish back at the store between 10 and 11 AM. We carpool to our destination.
Weekly Birdwalk Schedule
Our next birdwalks will be Saturday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 30th. Last week we visited the Hatfield Swamp and saw Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, a Green Heron, a Red-tailed Hawk and lots more. Fall migration is beginning so we expect to see increasing numbers of sparrows as well as fall warblers. Call the store on Thursday or Friday to learn our exact destination.
