November: It is time to take down those hummer feeders down and a great time to also clean out all of those bird houses.With the exception of an occassional migrating straggler, the hummingbirds have headed south to their Mexican winter resort.
Blue birds are already checking out winter roosting sites and don't like dirty boxes! Stock up on meal worms, too! The blue birds are active on seed feeders and are looking for meal worms again now that natural food is getting scarcer.
