Wild Bird Center Community Outreach Activities
RIO GRANDE NATURE CENTER FEEDER FUNDWe are donating seed and suet to the Rio Grande Nature Center for the duck pond and the other feeders around the grounds.
State Park funding does not provide The Nature Center with a budget for feeding the birds so they must rely soley on donations.
We enjoy the view to the duck pond and the antics the ducks provide for us at the feeder. You can join us in this effort by donating your dollars to the Rio Grande Nature Fund account at the store. All of your donation dollars will be used to purchase seed for the feeders and we will match your donations dollar-for-dollar.
Next time you stop in the store you can make your contribution to this fund directly, simply tell us to apply your change to the Nature Center Fund!

Raymond VanBuskirk and Michael Hilchey, lead and primary banders, continue this project in honor of their freind Ryan Beaulieu, with oversite and guidance from the Rio Grande Bird Research, Steve and Nancy Cox.
Join them at the crest for an enjoyable Sunday moring of birding.
Wild Bird Center donates all of the seed to feed the brids at the crest during the winter months for this project. You can help in this effort by donating your dollars for the Rosy Finch Feeder Fund at the store or at the creast when you visit. All of your donated dollars goes directly to the purchase of seed for the birds.
